In 2021, four founders came together with a shared mission: To help everyone do their bit to protect, restore and rebalance our planet and tackle the daunting task of reversing climate change.
Frustrated with the lack of transparency around carbon mitigation and filled with passion for helping reverse climate change, Earth9 was born.
By 2025, we will need to remove a billion tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere to keep global warming within the Paris Agreement target of 1.5°C. Nature does a fantastic job at removing and storing carbon, but we recognise that technology will also play a vital role in achieving our low-carbon goals. Because of this, Earth9 will reinvest a portion of its profits into solutions that will permanently remove carbon from the atmosphere.
